Thanks to $6 million in funding from several investors, Miyoko’s Kitchen—a brand well-loved for its game-changing cultured nut cheeses and butter—has expanded its reach in 2018, launching several new products, including vegan cream cheese and pub cheese.

These dairy-free products, which ship nationwide, are available at Whole Foods Market, Ralphs, Wegmans, Trader Joe’s, and countless natural food stores around the country. Now, Target has begun selling Miyoko’s dairy-free butter, cream cheese, and cheddar spread.

Miyoko’s Kitchen posted on social media:

Miyoko’s is going mainstream! Target is now carrying Miyoko’s Butter, Classic Cream Cheese, and Cheers to Cheddah Roadhouse spread. Fill up your Target cart with our revolutionary cheese and butter made from plants!

This is great news for the growing number of people ditching dairy in favor of plant-based alternatives.

And these exciting offerings are far from the only vegan items on Target’s shelves. In March the chain announced it would carry the acclaimed Beyond Burger at select locations. It also carries plant-based meats from Gardein, dairy-free ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s, frozen meals from Amy’s Kitchen, and much more.

Last month Target took its commitment to vegan food even further, introducing its own vegan ice cream under the Archer Farms label, available in seven flavors.

And vegan food is so much more than specialty products. Nearly every grocer, including Target, has an array of vegan whole foods, like fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds, grains, and legumes. With vegan food becoming more accessible, it’s never been easier to ditch animal products.
