It’s no secret that Trader Joe’s offers loads of delicious plant-based products. From the wide variety of mouthwatering meat and dairy alternatives, like almond milk and meatless meatballs, to a slew of ready-made meal options, like frozen vegan entrees and canned vegetarian chili, this store is packed with healthy animal-free foods.

And just last week, news broke that Trader Joe’s had begun offering vegan holiday cookies! The Christmas Tree-inspired Twinkling Trees sugar cookies are available nationwide for a limited time.

Sold for $3.99, each package has eight festive tree-shaped cookies sprinkled with green sugar crystals. While this new product isn’t labeled vegan, a glance at the ingredients list confirms that these sweet treats are entirely plant-based.

This is far from the only new vegan product at Trader Joe’s. Last month, the brand debuted vegan crab cakes made with jackfruit and released a new veggie tray that comes complete with vegan ranch dip! And in October, the company rolled out a vegan banana bread with walnuts. Sold for $3.99 a loaf, this bakery addition is available in select stores.

As veganism gains popularity, grocers like Trader Joe’s are taking advantage of the expanding plant-based food market by offering more vegan options, such as these festive holiday cookies. Of course, these aren’t the only amazing plant-based products that Trader Joe’s sells, so be sure to stop by your local store and ask customer service for a full list of vegan products.
