Dairy-Free Company Launches Vegan Cheese Shop Online
Over the past several years, the popularity of online shopping has skyrocketed, and vegan offerings have become more varied and available than ever. Now, Treeline Treenut Cheese, a company known for its delicious cashew-based cheeses, has announced plans to launch an online store!
One of the most widely distributed artisanal vegan cheese brands in America, Treeline Treenut Cheese is currently sold at Whole Foods and more than 2,500 Kroger-owned stores nationwide, including Ralphs, King Soopers, and Fred Meyer. “Vegan cheese is at a tipping point, set to join a new generation of vegan meats and non-dairy milks as mainstream grocery staples,” shares Treeline CEO Michael Schwarz.
The new online shop will offer all of Treeline’s products, including its hard-to-find Chipotle-Serrano and Green Peppercorn cheese flavors, as well as its newest addition: Premium New York Style Cashew Cream Cheese.
Launching on June 24, the new site, Treeline Online, will offer nationwide shipping. But it gets better. Vegan Magazine explains:
In keeping with Treeline’s commitment to sustainability, Treeline’s online shipping materials will be recyclable or compostable. Offering its products online will also enhance Treeline’s charitable support of nonprofit organizations like Mercy For Animals, Farm Sanctuary, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and Best Friends.
What more could we ask for?
As plant-based eating grows in popularity, companies like Treeline are taking advantage of the expanding market for vegan foods.
This is wonderful news for cows, who suffer miserably at dairy factory farms. Subjected to extreme confinement, mutilations without painkillers, and—inevitably—a ruthless slaughter, these cows are denied nearly everything that comes naturally to them, including caring for their young.
