Ben & Jerry’s Just Released Two Brand-New Vegan Ice Cream Flavors
With more and more people demanding dairy-free alternatives, it should be no surprise that vegan ice cream comes in more varieties and is more widely available than ever—2017 saw the addition of nine new vegan ice cream flavors from major brands.
And beloved ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s has just unveiled two brand-new flavors in its popular nondairy line (and the first new vegan flavors of 2018). Completely plant-based and certified vegan, the flavors are made with creamy almond milk:
Peanut Butter Half Baked
Loaded with brownie fudge bites and peanut butter cookie dough.
Cinnamon Buns
Cinnamon-flavored ice cream with cinnamon bun dough and cinnamon streusel swirl.
One of the first major companies to expand into nondairy territory, Ben & Jerry’s already offered seven mouthwatering vegan flavors. The company told VegNews that with the addition of these new flavors, 20 percent of the company’s offering is now dairy-free!
Here’s a quick rundown of the other flavors that can be found at stores across America, Canada, and the U.K.:
Chunky Monkey
Banana-flavored ice cream with walnuts and chunks of dark chocolate.
Coconut Seven Layer Bar
Swirls of graham cracker, walnuts, fudge chunks, and caramel!
P.B. and Cookies
Delicious Oreo cookies smashed with vanilla ice cream and peanut butter swirls.
Coffee Caramel Fudge
Coffee-flavored ice cream with fudge chunks and a caramel swirl.
Cherry Garcia
A classic mix of delicious fudge flakes and cherries!
Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Chocolatey almond milk ice cream with chunks of fudge brownie.
Caramel Almond Brittle
Loaded with pieces of almond brittle and salted caramel swirls!
