Vegan at Red Robin? Here Are Your Best Plant-Based Options
If you’re new to vegan eating, finding a plant-based meal when you’re on the road or short on time can sometimes feel overwhelming. Luckily, tons of restaurants have vegan options nowadays, which makes finding delicious animal-free food easier than ever.
While Red Robin is far from the most vegan-friendly restaurant, it has quite a few tasty vegan choices. Here are some of our favorites:
Custom Veggie Burger
This plant-based patty is made with a custom blend of quinoa and other grains. Ask to have it vegan and it comes topped with fresh bruschetta salsa, sliced avocado, and shredded romaine lettuce.
Be sure to skip the regular bun and substitute a ciabatta bun, spinach tortilla, or lettuce wrap! Not into the standard toppings? You can customize your burger with a slew of plant-based options: arugula, carrots, red pepper, cucumber, cilantro, dill pickle slices, caramelized onions, fresh or house-pickled jalapeño, basil, and pineapple slices.
Top it all off with your choice of A.1. steak sauce, guacamole, Heinz 57 sauce, ketchup (there’s also a ghost pepper variety), or yellow mustard!
BONUS: This hearty burger is served with bottomless steak fries or broccoli, so go to town!
Custom Side Salad
This simple salad consists of mixed spring greens, diced tomatoes, and fresh cucumber. Take it to the next level with the burger toppings listed above or with a few of these offerings: black beans, Baja vegetables, red onion, shredded iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, white tortilla strips, and fire-grilled corn. And don’t forget the lime wedge!
Red Robin also has some fantastic sides, including steak fries, guacamole, salsa, sweet potato fries, fruit salad, and fresh carrots or apples.
*Since menu items may vary by location, be sure to let your server know that you’re vegan to ensure no animal products are used!
Pushing for more animal-friendly menu options is a great way to make vegan eating easier for you and millions of other compassionate consumers. Please take a moment to ask Red Robin to add more vegan food to its menu! You can leave a message on the restaurant’s Facebook page here.
