Known as the birthplace of Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, UNO Pizzeria & Grill just announced the launch of a brand-new menu called “Love All, Feed All,” which includes five incredible plant-based options! On October 22, the menu rolled out to all of the chain’s 85 locations across 19 states.

UNO Pizzeria & Grill CEO Jim Ilaria described the launch:

While we are famous for inventing the deep-dish pizza—and have served it to generations of fans since 1943—we are thrilled to now offer a wider variety of options so everyone can walk through our doors confident they will enjoy a tasty meal regardless of their dietary interests.

The new menu’s salad options are a vegan garden starter salad and mixed berry and walnut salad. For pizza, hungry diners can choose between a vegan garden pizza (made with fresh spinach, roasted vegetables, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and vegan cheese) or vegan cheese pizza (which comes with Daiya vegan mozzarella cheese and housemade pizza sauce). The menu even boasts a classic Beyond Burger served on a toasted bun with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a choice of side.

Executive Chef Andre Fuehr said:

I am incredibly proud of this new menu, one that will appeal to a broad range of new guests thanks partly to plant-based offerings from Beyond Meat and Daiya Foods.

UNO Pizzeria & Grill joins a growing list of popular restaurants that have added plant-based options to their menus. Just this month, multinational coffee company Dunkin’ announced a rollout of the Beyond Sausage Sandwich to more than 9,000 U.S. locations. On September 30, McDonald’s began testing a vegan burger in Canada. Even Disney is getting into the game, announcing the addition of more than 400 plant-based items to Walt Disney World and Disneyland menus!
