Michael Pan, the founder of Pan’s Mushroom Jerky, drew inspiration from his family in Malaysia to create his flavorful vegan mushroom jerky. A former contestant on popular ABC show Shark Tank, Pan’s Mushroom Jerky is paving the way for sustainable snacking.

Danielle Tubbs, founder of Tubby’s Taste and descendant of a long line of Jamaican cake ladies, packs her organic, nut-free cookies with flavor and love. With a bold twist on the classics, Tubby’s Taste will leave your taste buds doing triple takes. 

Yeah Dawg Vegan


Our partner Yeah Dawg Vegan not only makes tasty vegan hot dogs but also operates outside the gender binary and status quo! Founder Marino Bendetto’s unique take on your favorite ballpark food is also gluten- and soy-free. Special shout-out to Kush, their official mascot, inspiration for the logo, and cutest puppy ever. 

Azzizah’s Herbal Green Popcorn


Azzizah Malik launched her vegan business out of necessity while living in a food desert. Now she’s serving her gourmet superfood popcorn to celebrities and customers around the country!

Dr. Juan Salinas approached the team of Shark Tank with his peanut-based snacks and secured an impressive investment from Mark Cuban. Since then, the food scientist turned bodybuilder turned business owner has continued to make your favorite snacks. 

Everything Legendary


Everything Legendary is a Black-owned vegan business with a mission to bring delicious, flavorful burgers and meat products to people across the United States. After Jumoke Jackson, Danita Gassen, and Duane Cheers appeared on Shark Tank, the burgers they created in a family kitchen operation turned into a nationwide hit!

When it comes to plant-based food, our 2022 ChooseVeg partners know that the sky’s the limit! As this diverse group of innovative social change starters show, there are always creative and bold ways to create delicious, healthy, and sustainable vegan foods.
