Ben & Jerry’s Introduces First New Vegan Flavors of 2019
In the past few years, Ben & Jerry’s has become a beloved brand for the dairy averse. Starting with its debut of four plant-based flavors in 2016, the brand has consistently added varieties to its popular dairy-free line.

Plus, the brand is teasing us with another dairy-free flavor, giving fans the opportunity to vote for their top pick. USA Today reports:
Another new, non-dairy vegan flavor may be coming this spring, the company says. You can vote on flavors on the Ben & Jerry’s website. Options include Strawberry Cheesecake, New York Super Fudge Chunk and Everything But The … (chocolate and vanilla with peanut butter cups, fudge-covered toffee, white chocolate chunks and fudge-covered almonds).
With more and more people demanding dairy-free alternatives, it’s no surprise that vegan ice cream comes in more varieties and is more widely available than ever. In fact, Ben & Jerry’s isn’t the only company expanding its vegan offerings. Dairy-free brand So Delicious recently announced plans to launch a new line of ice cream. Made with oat milk, flavors include Oatmeal Cookie, Peanut Butter and Raspberry, and Caramel Apple Crumble.
As more people discover the animal cruelty and vast environmental destruction inherent in animal agriculture, they’re eating fewer animal products or ditching them altogether in favor of plant-based foods. These products are yet another sign.
