Aldi Just Released a Line of Vegan Meats and People Are Freaking Out
With a wide variety of plant-based staples, discount grocery store Aldi is a pretty great place to shop. And this beloved Germany-based supermarket recently announced plans to roll out a whole line of vegetarian and vegan specialty products offered at Aldi’s low prices.
The new line, Earth Grown, will feature vegan mozzarella, meatless meatballs, chickenless tenders, a variety of veggie burgers, and much more. We can’t wait to get our hands on these new products.
The Daily Meal reports:
The high demand from customers for more vegan options after the success of Aldi’s dairy-free ice cream has resulted in a line of meatless hot dogs, meatballs, chicken tenders, veggie burgers, and cheeses.
And thanks to Aldi’s low prices, vegan eating just became more affordable and accessible for countless people. Reactions on Twitter tell it all:
