We fell in love with vegan vlogger, chef, and actress Tabitha Brown back in 2017. Now she’s gone viral on TikTok!

Known for her comforting personality and tasty recipes, Tabitha Brown is enjoying newfound fame on the video-sharing app TikTok. Five weeks ago, Tabitha’s 18-year-old daughter encouraged her to create a TikTok account. Since then, Tabitha’s account has blown up with over 2 million followers! The most popular video, boasting over 12 million views, is her recipe video for carrot bacon. One fan even commented that the video “should be in the Louvre.”

Tabitha went vegan years ago after suffering from chronic headaches and fatigue. She was first inspired to embark on a 30-day plant-based challenge after watching the documentary What the Health. By the end of the month, she saw vast improvements in her health and decided to change her lifestyle for good.

At the time, Tabitha was already charming fans with her homemade videos, which began featuring more and more plant-based meals. But her life changed after she posted a particularly enthusiastic video about Whole Foods’ TTLA—tempeh, tomato, lettuce, and avocado sandwich. By the time she got home from Whole Foods, the video had around 25,000 views and was quickly going viral. Tabitha says, “A sandwich made me famous.”

Tabitha is not just a fan of delicious plant-based recipes; she is also a staunch defender of animals! At Mercy For Animals’ 20th Anniversary Gala, Tabitha told us that the more people she can get to listen to her “in a good way,” the more she can help her viewers see the big picture.

The inspiring influencer also recently did a “takeover” of Mercy For Animals’ Instagram account, where she showed our followers how to make an impressive kale salad.
