Vegan Corned Beef Sandwich Debuts at Quiznos in Denver
This month, fast-food sandwich chain Quiznos will unveil its first plant-based meat option at Denver locations. Starting November 15 for a limited time, Denver customers can order any sandwich with vegan corned beef, courtesy of Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli. If the test is successful, the vegan corned beef will roll out to Quiznos shops nationwide.
Sheila Zimmerman, vice president of marketing for the parent company of Quiznos, stated:
Given consumers’ growing desire for meatless options and the rise of plant-based foods, we wanted to test this modern twist on a deli classic here in Denver where sustainable green lifestyles are thriving. Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli is a delicious alternative to traditional deli meat and a perfect brand fit.
The vegan meat will debut on the Plant-Based Corned Beef Sandwich, which comes with pickles and sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and honey French dressing. Order it on a white or wheat bun and nix the cheese and dressing to make it vegan!
