
Game-Winning Hot Pizza Dip
The fabulous gals at Spork Foods have created this mouth-watering vegan recipe, perfect for the Super Bowl!
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
2 containers GO Veggie! Dairy Free Cream Cheese
¾ cup, plus ¼ cup GO Veggie! Dairy Free Mozzarella Shreds
1 cup organic marinara sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon finely ground black pepper
¼ cup sliced black olives
10-12 slices vegan pepperoni
4-6 leaves fresh basil, cut into thin strips
Fresh bread and/or crackers for serving
Preparation:
– Preheat oven to 400°.
– In a mixing bowl, combine GO Veggie! Dairy Free Cream Cheese, ¾ cup GO Veggie! Dairy Free Mozzarella Shreds, marinara sauce, lemon juice, sea salt and pepper. Whisk until uniform. Place in an 8-inch round or square baking dish and garnish with ¼ cup GO Veggie! Dairy Free Mozzarella Shreds, olives and vegan pepperoni.
– Place baking dish on walled baking sheet and bake for about 22-25 minutes, or until bubbling and cheese is melted.
– Serve warm and garnish with fresh basil.
