Blaze Pizza Just Launched Its First All-Vegan Pizza, but That’s Not All

National pizza chain Blaze Pizza just debuted its first prebuilt vegan pizza as part of its new collection: Life Mode Pizzas.

The delicious new pie features red sauce, vegan cheese, spicy vegan chorizo, mushrooms, red onions, green bell peppers, basil, and olive oil. Executive Chef Bradford Kent crafted the pizza. He told VegNews:

Blaze has always had plant-based options on its menu and has relied on our guests to build their entirely plant-based pizzas to their specific liking. As the demand for plant-based foods continues to gain popularity, we have decided to give [it] its due and build our own vegan pizza.

Kent is right about the amazing vegan options at Blaze. In April, the chain started offering spicy vegan chorizo—at no extra charge—at its over 300 locations across the country. Ken explained: “We wanted to create a vegan protein option that could be enjoyed by all pizza lovers regardless of their dietary preferences. That’s exactly what our new Spicy Chorizo offers.”

Building your own vegan pizza at Blaze is easy! Just follow these tips:

Step 1: Dough/Crust

Choose original or high-rise dough as your base instead of the “crust” options, which are not vegan.

Step 2: Sauces

Pick either the classic or the spicy red sauce. Skip the white cream sauce and garlic pesto, as they contain cow’s milk.

Step 3: Cheeses

Opt for vegan cheese, or go cheeseless if that’s your jam.

Step 4: Meats

Go ahead and add some spicy vegan chorizo!

Step 5: Veggies

Load up on as many veggies as you want. With great options like roasted garlic, banana peppers, and cherry tomatoes, you can’t go wrong.

Step 6: Finishes

All the finishes are vegan except the pesto and ranch, so top your pizza with arugula, balsamic glaze, barbecue drizzle, Buffalo sauce, or a touch of olive oil.
