Vegan food is more popular than ever, and as a result, more and more pizza places offer vegan cheese on their pies, including Mellow Mushroom, zPizza, and Pizza Rev in the U.S. And earlier this year, Canadian company Pizza Pizza announced that it would add vegan cheese to the menu at all its 750 locations!
So it should come as no surprise that Pizza Hut recently announced plans to run a trial offering of vegan cheese at select U.K. locations.
The Daily Mail explains:

Plant-based company Violife has announced it has partnered with Pizza Hut Restaurants to trial vegan cheese on pizzas at a limited number of eateries to see if there is a demand for the dairy-free alternative.

While this is only a limited trial at the moment, if the option does well, the chain could consider adding vegan cheese to their menus permanently. Click here to leave a polite message on Pizza Hut’s Facebook page asking them to roll out this exciting new option at all their locations!

Cows at dairy farms are subjected to extreme confinement, mutilations without painkillers,
and inevitably, a ruthless slaughter. They are denied nearly everything that comes naturally to them, including caring for their young.
As more people become aware of this sad reality, they’re ditching these cruel products in favor of healthy plant-based alternatives. Click here for tips on ordering a vegan pie from your favorite pizza chain.
