International bakery and restaurant chain Le Pain Quotidien just launched this year’s autumn menu, which includes new vegan additions such as a plant-based egg frittata and a roasted delicata squash and cashew cheese tartine.

The plant-based egg frittata is prepared with JUST’s revolutionary Vegan Egg, a product made from mung beans that scrambles up like traditional eggs but without the cholesterol or animal exploitation. The frittata also contains roasted butternut squash, broccoli, caramelized onions, and almond milk.

The menu’s new roasted delicata squash and cashew cheese tartine takes roasted squash, vegan scallion cashew cheese, spiced pecans, cucumber, and arugula and serves it atop a slice of Le Pain Quotidien’s homemade bread.

Hungry customers can also enjoy the flavors of the season with the Harvest Bowl, which features roasted butternut squash, organic apple, farro, kale, and romaine topped with toasted sunflower seeds and a citrus-apple dressing.

The autumn specials also include my personal favorite, the Baker’s Lunch, which comes with avocado toast, quinoa salad, and either the organic soup of the day or the gazpacho. The soup of the day is always vegan and always delicious, with options like corn chowder, split pea, tomato, and minestrone. You can also order the avocado toast, the soup of the day, or the gazpacho separately.

Le Pain also offers exciting and hearty plant-based options year-round, such as a crispy quinoa cake, served with arugula, beetroot hummus, chickpea salad, and basil oil, and zucchini noodle pad thai with red pepper, cabbage, arugula, toasted cashews, cilantro, and a lovely sesame-cashew dressing.

Arriving at Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast? You’re in luck! There are quite a few fantastic options, including a dragon fruit smoothie bowl, organic steel-cut oatmeal, and a delicious berry muffin. You can even order the granola parfait vegan by asking for coconut yogurt!

Le Pain Quotidien marks all its vegan options with a little orange carrot, which makes them easy to identify. So what are you waiting for? Grab a seat at a reclaimed-wood table and enjoy the new fall offerings.
