Great news for our friends across the pond: Gardein, the beloved Canadian company behind some of our favorite meat alternatives, has announced it will debut its plant-based meats at Sainsbury’s—the second-largest grocer in the United Kingdom.

VegNews reports:

The brand will launch a number of its meat alternatives in the frozen department, including Mandarin Orange Crispy Chik’n, Sizzling Szechuan Beefless Strips, Seven Grain Crispy Tenders, Golden Fishless Filets, and Classic Meatless Meatballs.

These new offerings from Gardein will add to the number of great vegan options showing up at grocery stores and on restaurant menus across the U.K. Just a few weeks ago, Beyond Meat announced that its Beyond Burger would be available at Tesco, one of the world’s largest supermarket chains.

Tesco is no stranger to vegan meat. In May the retailer launched a plant-based steak at more than 400 locations. Within just one week, the steak nearly sold out at 40,000 units!

And many supermarket chains have even debuted their own vegan meats, including British supermarket Iceland, which released its own vegan burgers in March! The No Bull Burger—made with soy—has been flying off store shelves, and the chain is working to expand its vegan range!

As more people discover the extreme cruelty farmed animals face and the impending threat of climate change, they’re ditching meat and other animal products in favor of plant-based alternatives. As a result, sales of plant-based meats are at an all-time high. In fact, according to a report from leading market research and consulting firm Coherent Market Insights, the global vegan meat market is set to surpass $6.5 billion by 2026.

And that’s just the beginning. The research firm GlobalData reports that there were six times as many vegans in America in 2017 as in 2014, and Allied Market Research predicts that the meat substitute market will grow 8.4 percent from 2015, potentially reaching $5.2 billion globally by 2020.
