Target Releases New Vegan Ice Cream Line Nationwide

Target is home to a wide variety of plant-based products, and the grocer recently launched new vegan ice cream—made with almond milk—under the company’s Archer Farms brand. Retailing for $3.59 each, the new offerings are available in seven flavors: Vanilla Cake & Cookie Dough, Strawberry & Fudge, Caramel Brownie, Vanilla Bean, Peanut Butter & Chocolate, Cashew Caramel, and Mocha Almond Fudge.

This new line is more affordable than many other vegan ice cream options Target offers and is available nationwide—meaning it’s sure to be a hit with dairy-averse customers. Cooking Light explains:

If you’ve been to your local Target lately, you’ve probably noticed they added more private label products to shelves. They’ve actually added over 100 new items, all of which are designed to be healthier and more convenient for shoppers. But the latest expansion of Target’s Archer Farms label includes an ice cream that contains no dairy or animal products, making it the ultimate dessert for vegans or those with dairy sensitivities.

But these drool-worthy ice cream varieties are far from the only delicious plant-based products available at Target. The chain’s grocery department has become more vegan-friendly over the past few years, offering vegan meats from Gardein and Beyond Meat, frozen meals from Amy’s, and a wide selection of dairy-free milk.

And vegan food is so much more than specialty products. Nearly every grocer, including Target, has an array of vegan whole foods, like fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, grains, beans, and legumes. With all kinds of vegan food becoming more accessible, it’s never been easier to ditch animal products.

You can join the growing number of people who are taking a stand for animals, the environment, and their own health by transitioning to a plant-based diet. For delicious vegan recipes, easy plant-based meal ideas, and tips on making the switch, order a FREE Vegetarian Starter Guide today.
