Starbucks is no stranger to vegan options, and starting this month, two new ready-to-pour drinks are for sale at grocery stores. Available in Caffé Latte and Caffé Mocha flavors, these iced beverages are made with creamy almond milk and Starbucks espresso.

Not only are these new drinks sure to make plant-based living easier; they are a more economical way to get your Starbucks fix. Refinery29 explains:

Both flavors of Starbucks’ new Iced Espresso Classics Almondmilks come in 40-ounce bottles. For comparison, three tall lattes are … 36 ounces. … Amazingly, these new 40-ounce bottles have a suggested retail price of $4.99. Again, for comparison, three tall lattes would cost around $8.85—and almond milk lattes would cost even more—so you’d be saving quite a bit on your daily dose of caffeine by buying one of these new products.

Of course, Starbucks already offers a wide variety of beverages that can be made dairy-free. Just last summer, they unveiled a Protein Blended Cold Brew made with almond milk, available at locations in the U.S.

These new vegan drinks are part of the company’s plan to add more plant-based options to its lineup. In 2017, Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson told analysts that the company would work to add even more vegan options in the future, saying, “Plant-based beverages and alternatives [are a] big area of opportunity for us, and our customers are asking for it.”

As more people discover the animal cruelty and vast environmental destruction inherent in milk production, they’re consuming less dairy or ditching it altogether in favor of plant-based foods. Restaurateurs and food producers like Starbucks are taking advantage of this expanding market by adding more plant-based options to their menus and product lines.
