Tofurky Adds Game-Changing Vegan Cheesecake to Holiday Feast

Just in time for the coming holiday season, Tofurky has announced that it will add a mouthwatering dairy-free cheesecake from Sirabella to its holiday feast meal kit. Complete with Tofurky’s famed vegan turkey roast, the feast also features vegan gravy and a “wishstix”—a vegan version of a wishbone.

In previous years, the meal kit came with a plant-based brownie for dessert, but this new limited-edition vegan chocolate espresso cheesecake is taking things to the next level. Made by Sirabella, this completely dairy-free, nut-free cheesecake has around half the calories of traditional cheesecake.

Marcia Walker, vice president of research and development and quality assurance at Tofurky, told Food Business News:

We’re really excited to see where we can go with this and potentially look at other dairy replacement products. … Maybe not just desserts but other dairy-like products that people have a hard time finding if they’re trying not to consume animal products.

And this new dairy-free dessert isn’t the only news from Tofurky. The company recently announced that its vegan ham roast would soon be available year-round. This ham has a tender, smoky flavor, complemented by a sweet, tangy glaze.
