Founded in 2008, Daiya has become a household name for many vegans in North America. The brand makes an array of delicious dairy-free foods—including cheese shreds, cream cheese, frozen pizzas, and cheesecakes—and is debuting a slew of new dairy-free products at the Natural Products Expo East this weekend. The offerings include a brand-new line of vegan cheese sticks in cheddar and mozzarella, an expansion of its Cheezy Mac line with Four Cheeze Style With Herbs and Bac’n & Cheddar Style, and new dairy-free cheese slices in mozzarella and Gouda flavors.

In a press statement, the company shares:

As plant-based eating becomes increasingly mainstream, people are seeking out dairy-free and meat-free options to help satisfy diet preferences and achieve wellness goals. In fact, a recent national consumer survey conducted by Daiya indicated that over a third of 1,000 respondents are more apt to eat plant-based foods than in previous years. The company caters to the growing appetite for food that not only tastes great, but is also better for you and the planet.

Daiya was ranked “#1 fastest growing plant-based food company in America” and “second fastest growing food company over $50 million in revenue” in 2017, and earlier this year, the company announced that its products would soon be available in the United Kingdom. Given the brand’s already far-reaching distribution in North America, these new products will make compassionate food choices more accessible than ever.

As consumers become more aware of the impact their food choices have on the planet, their own health, and the animals who are subjected to horrific conditions and a brutal slaughter, plant-based food companies are busy creating a multibillion-dollar industry. The evidence is clear: Vegan food is taking over!
