Now the company has unveiled plans to add another sausage to its lineup: the Beyond Breakfast Sausage! Free of gluten, soy, and GMOs, this new product is set to be released this fall, and if the success of Beyond Meat’s other products is any indication, these new sausages are sure to be a hit!

Vegan meat company Beyond Meat plans to launch vegan breakfast sausages this fall, according to a flyer presented by the company at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago. Called the “Beyond Breakfast Sausage,” this product will likely follow in the footsteps of the company’s vegan Beyond Burger and Beyond Sausage, both of which have made a splash in the grocery and restaurant world for their realistic taste and texture.

Beyond Meat is one of the few companies pushing to have vegan meats sold next to their animal-based counterparts, a strategy that has contributed to the company’s success. When sold alongside animal products, vegan alternatives often outsell them. In fact, Beyond Meat CEO Ethan Brown told Forbes that, at some stores of a major conventional retailer, the Beyond Burger was the “number-one-selling beef patty in the meat case.”

As more people become aware of the egregious animal cruelty and vast environmental destruction involved in meat production, they’re ditching meat in favor of healthful animal-free foods, like those from Beyond Meat.
